Porto is building Sui-native synthetic assets, starting with pUSD: the backbone of liquidity on Sui.
Porto Labs is building synthetic assets on Sui backed by Sui-native assets. Users will be able to mint assets like pUSD, pETH, and pBTC using SUI (and other Sui-native assets) as collateral to gain leverage. Holders of these tokens will be able to get exposure to the underlying asset on Sui without needing to trust a bridge’s security.
In doing so, Porto Labs will enable a resilient, bridge-proof DeFi ecosystem to flourish on Sui.
